A great place to live in Howard County, Maryland
Founded in 1994, the Hammond Manor Homeowners Association (HOA) has been serving our community for over 30 years. We are a neighborhood of 29 homes located in Howard County, Laurel, Maryland. Our mission is to promote the well-being of our community and maintain the beauty of our neighborhood.
On our website, you can find information about upcoming events, neighborhood news, and important resources. We hope you find our website informative and engaging. Welcome!
Thank you to our homeowners who attended the Annual HOA Meeting on February 5, or sent a proxy. We had 10 homeowners in attendance and 4 proxies, which met quorum. At the meeting, we reviewed the budget, AERC activities for 2024, and re-elected John Ianno and Gladwin D’Costa for another 3-year term each on our HOA Board as President and Treasurer respectively. We thank them for their continued service to our community. Also thank you to AERC Co-Chairs Linda Hart and Mark Neal, plus AERC members Debbie Beck and Gary Huggins for their continued service on that committee.
A reminder: If you already sent in your Annual HOA Assessment, thank you! If you have not done so yet, this is just a reminder that it is due February 28. The Assessment information was in the December mailing along with the Annual Meeting forms. If you need a re-send on your Assessment bill, please let us know.
Please reach us at our contact information below if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Each Hammond Manor home has a grinder pump in a well, which is usually paired with your neighbor's pump for redundancy. Your grinder pump pushes your waste water up-hill to Howard County's sewage system under Gorman Road.
Call Freemire Grinder Pump Service at 410-768-8500. All Hammond Manor HOA homes are covered for grinder pump service calls during 8am-8pm as part of our annual assessment fee. Note that service calls between 8pm-8am incur an hourly charge to the homeowner. When electrical power to your pump is functioning, the alarm box on the side of your house will alert you with a red light and buzzer when there is a problem detected with your pump. There is a "silence" button located on the bottom of the box. During power outages, it is important that you minimize your waste water usage since your grinder pump is not functioning during that time and sewage backup may occur.
